Aspinall defeats Price after leg-decider in Premier League

Nathan Aspinall booked an important 8-6 victory over Gerwyn Price in the Premier League Darts as he climbs to the third place in the standings.

Aspinall started the night as number five on the ranking, but following Michael van Gerwen's defeat to Peter Wright, The Asp moves back in the provisional play-off spots.

The Stockport ace saw Price coming back from a 5-2 deficit, but Aspinall broke the Welshman's throw again in the 11th leg with a 14-darter. He held his own throw with a 15-dart leg, before claiming the victory and two points in the 14th leg with a clinical 13-darter.
