Aspinall to miss remainder of PDC Super Series 4 after positive Covid-19 test

Nathan Aspinall will miss the remaining days of PDC Super Series 4 after testing positive for Covid-19 while in the Milton Keynes bubble.

Aspinall like all other players had returned a negative test on Sunday on arrival but reported symptoms to the PDC Welfare Officer on Monday and has subsequently received a negative test.

He must now return home to Stockport and begin a period of self-isolation in accordance to government guidelines.

Keane Barry has also been caught in the crossfire so to speak with 'Dynamite' having to also leave the bubble having played Aspinall yesterday so he is a close contact of the former UK Open champion.

It is yet to be revealed whether further players will be called from the Q-School Order of Merit to fill the two spots left free.
