Danny Noppert devastated after swift defeat at World Darts Championship: ''I have few words for it''

The World Darts Championship ended in another disappointment for Danny Noppert. He lost 3-0 in sets to Scott Williams in the second round of the World Darts Championship on Thursday night.
The tournament in Alexandra Palace proved to be another difficult tournament for Noppert, who never managed to reach the last sixteen in London. ''I have few words for it'', Noppert was disappointed afterwards to AD.nl. '''If I had wanted to make steps, I should have done it this World Championship. Very unfortunate."
After Noppert shared his disappointment, he was soon able to put his loss into perspective. ''I'm still going home feeling happy. The most important thing is that everyone is healthy and well at home. I am now looking forward to going back to my family. We are away a lot as darters and of course you want to lift the trophy, but it's no different. I can now celebrate Christmas and my birthday (Dec. 31) at home. That's the advantage then, but I do feel crappy now,'' Noppert said.

- I don't have a problem with someone being whoever they want to be, but ultimately there is a Ladies and Mens format for a reason. What is going to stop substandard men claiming that they are transgender and entering the ladies format for an opportunity to increase their profile, prize money, ranking etc etc. We know that the current crop of PDC players will suck up to van Leuven and will not speak out.richieburnettrocks23-10-2024
- The bottom line is Beau will be a triple World Champion soon. She is so many levels better than the rest of the ladies. Lorraine and Aileen have never really raised their game, I really expected the quality of the ladies game to have improved but excluding Beau, it seems to have detiorated.
