Dolan impresses in Rupprecht win, double Belgian success for Raman and Vandenbogaerde

Brendan Dolan is through to the second day of action at the International Darts Open in Riesa and has been joined by two Belgians in the form of Brian Raman and Mario Vandenbogaerde.
Dolan produced the performance of the afternoon so far in Riesa. He averaged 97 with three 180's and 60% on the doubles to deny the rising German, Pascal Rupprecht who is still winless on his first two European Tour outings but should a better display.
Vandenbogaerde took the win against Madars Razma after a sloppy match. Two good legs were played by the Belgian, which he did save for last. After a 4-4 interval, 'Super Mario' recorded two 15-darters for the win.
Immediately after that, Raman followed the example of his compatriot. The Riddler defeated Ryan Meikle 6-2. The Belgian came up with a fine final touch by ending the match with a handsome 132 finish.
