Glen Durrant came astonishingly from 7-2 down including surviving match darts to draw against Michael Smith as he made it three points currently ahead in the race for the Premier League play-offs.
Durrant spoke afterwards and sees it potentially as the biggest point for him in the whole of the Premier League so far. He also believes that the fate is on his side after avoiding a couple defeats recently.
“That could end up being the biggest point of the whole event, even I thought I was beaten there everything Michael (Smith) does is so effortless. I felt helpless for parts of that game,” said Durrant.
“This is what I came to the PDC for, to test myself against the best players in the world," Durrant added.
“It feels like fate, someone somewhere wants me to get through; and I’m getting very close now."
