Glen Durrant and Rob Cross are the two eliminated players from the 2021
Premier League Darts after the ninth night of action.
For Cross, it is his second consecutive elimination after Judgement Night, while Durrant has become the second player to finish last as defending champion in the following season. Gary Anderson preceded him in 2012, after the Scot had won the Premier League in 2011.
Durrant set another negative record. The three-time Lakeside champion is the first player in Premier League history to finish on zero points.
The fact that a player did not manage to win a match in the competition was not new, however. Kim Huybrechts (2017) and Gerwyn Price (2018) also failed to win a match in the past. They did achieve three and two points respectively through multiple draws.
