The semi-final line-up is complete at this year's World Matchplay and among those involved include Glen Durrant who could be on his way to a first major PDC title after a phenomenal win over Vincent van der Voort.
Durrant was 10-5 down and looked to be heading out to 'The Dutch Destroyer' but it was sent to overtime with the three time Lakeside World Champion producing some fine clutch darts to edge through 18-16.
It is a second successive semi-final at the
World Matchplay for Durrant and in what has been a remarkable tournament, he will face Dimitri van den Bergh on Saturday for a place in the final.
To begin proceedings neither player was at their best; with Van der Voort holding a slender advantage in the early going at 6-4 up.
When they returned though, it was Van der Voort who began to build his lead; he went 7-4 up with a break and held after Durrant missed 127 on the bull to make it 8-4 and claim a four leg cushion.
Part of one of Durrant's points got lodged in the board in the requisite leg; the board needed to get changed as a result. But this didn't stop the momentum of 'The Dutch Destroyer' who was looking great at 10-5 up.

Duzza looked deflated but came back to claim it back to 11-8 with a 108 checkout; but Van der Voort always kept him at arms length going into the break 12-8 up having maintained his lead.
Two requisite legs were won on double one but Van der Voort went closer to the winning line; albeit only with a lead of two in the next leg going 13-11 up.
Durrant was one behind but Van der Voort had the throw to go two away anyway and left himself 32 with the former down at 140 which he couldn't pin.
The former left himself 68 and couldn't pin it but escaped with a double eight; after VvdV had missed double 12 for a 144.
Durrant hit a timely 180 but left himself on a bogey number and Van der Voort piled one in himself to leave 57 to go one away. But he missed two darts at double 20 allowing Durrant back for 66 which he pinned to break.

Durrant turns the tables to claim victory in tiebreak
Suddenly Durrant looked to turn the tables and went one away himself with a 92 checkout on the bull. Van der Voort left 40 after both were locked on 180 on his throw; he pinned it first time to make it 15-15.
An 85 checkout saw Durrant hold and go ahead again. A 180 saw Van der Voort first to a finish on his throw and well ahead of Durrant. He pinned 58 to make it 16-16.
Durrant came in clutch smashing in a 115 checkout with Van der Voort on 36 to break in what proved a vital moment.
