Fallon Sherrock has put herself firmly in pole position to seal her spot at the Grand Slam of Darts after back-to-back titles on Saturday at PDC
Women's Series.
Sherrock sealed Event 22 on Saturday evening defeating Irish ace, Aoife McCormack in her first final. A name who has began gaining traction on the Women's Series, but Sherrock was too good for her in a 5-0 win like earlier against Vicky Pruim in Event 21.
En route, Sherrock also sealed an important win over Mikuru Suzuki and Beau Greaves in the semi-finals as she hunts down a spot in Wolverhampton. She was £2,200 behind Suzuki to start the week and is now ahead.
She also sealed her spot at Ally Pally today alongside Mikuru Suzuki, so one box ticked and another to be completed tomorrow for either player.
The ladies can earn prize money with their results. These performances count toward the final rankings. The best player gets to compete at the Grand Slam of Darts, while the top-2 (behind Greaves) also gets an invitation to the World Darts Championship. The event also counts toward the qualification cycle toward the Women's World Matchplay in 2024. The top eight of this ranking may compete in that tournament.
