Gary Anderson throws most 180 scores during Players Championship 25-28

Gary Anderson managed to throw the most 180 scores during the four Players Championship tournaments in Barnsley last week. 'The Flying Scotsman' recorded a total of 58.

Anderson was especially productive during Players Championship 25, the tournament that "The Flying Scotsman" also managed to take his name. During that tournament, Anderson threw the maximum score no fewer than 27 times.

Ross Smith threw a total of 55 180s during the four-team event in Barnsley. He threw 28 during Players Championship 28 and that event was also won by Smith. Thursday's tournament winner Ryan Joyce managed to throw a 180 score 45 times in four days, good for third place. Gian van Veen was also quite productive in terms of 180-scores. The Dutchman recorded the highest possible score 41 times, more than Gerwyn Price (40), Damon Heta (40) and Stephen Bunting (37), among others.
