Greaves restores order in PDC Women's Series with Event Nine win

Beau Greaves has restored order in the PDC Women's Series. 'Beau 'n' Arrow' had won the last eight tournaments of 2022 and continued the streak with four tournament wins during the first five Women's Series tournaments of 2023.

However, the previous three tournaments produced different winners each time. The 19-year-old ended that series again by winning the ninth event of this circuit. As a result, she has now won 13 of the last 17 tournaments.

Greaves conceded just three legs en route to the final. The best female darter of the moment dealt with successively Carina Staubitz (4-0), Amy Grant (4-0), Kirsty Hutchinson (4-2), Crissy Manley (5-0) and Corrine Hammond (5-1).

In the final, she faced two-time women's world champion Mikuru Suzuki, who had defeated Jessica Kischel (4-0), Tori Kewish (4-0), Sharona Field (4-0), Deta Hedman (4-2), Laura Turner (5-1) and Lisa Ashton. However, the final was a 5-1 win for Greaves.

This amount eventually increases. A place in the final already earns £1000. The winner of the tournament receives £2,000 in prize money.
