Dave Chisnall returned to some form which has been seen as of late with victory over Ted Evetts on Sunday at the
Grand Slam of Darts with a 5-2 victory.
"It was a good performance. Ted played quite well to be fair, I was 2-0 up again and could have easily thrown it away but I started playing quite well after I got 2-2 so I'm quite happy.
This after losing to Raymond van Barneveld with Chisnall putting his hands up and saying he deserved defeat.
"We scored quite well in the game, it was just the doubles that were really poor. Sometimes he outscored me and still let me go 2-0 up. I'm disappointed but he deserved to win so we just move on."
But now he goes into a crunch clash with Gerwyn Price knowing a win will dump out the defending champion and see himself move through.
"I approach it the same. I've just got to play my game, tighten up a little bit. If we get both going (trebles and doubles), I'll do a good job."
