Beau Greaves was at her brilliant best on the PDC
Women's Series over the weekend. Taking the win at three of the four tournaments that were played.
Prior to the weekend's action, there had been concern from some that Greaves may have been suffering with her action. Any concerns however were swiftly put to bed. "I went from averaging over 100 to being terrible," Greaves reflected after her victory at Event 12. "I learnt a lot about myself that weekend and I'm trying to move on from it. I think I've done alright this week!"
"I'm definitely too hard on myself. I know what people expect of me. I know how I can play it's just whether it shows up and obviously, when mine doesn't, it's talked about," Greaves continues. "I'm more bothered by what I feel than anyone else. I just try and relax."
"I was so disappointed with myself in Milton Keynes I was ready to retire. I came off the board and I was ready to throw the darts in the bin. I need to learn to cope with it better."
With less than a month to go until the Women's World Matchplay, Greaves is excited to make her Winter Gardens debut. "I cannot wait. I'm so excited," she smiles. "I missed it last year. I'd lost the enjoyment a little bit and now I've got it back dead excited."
