The 'Queen of the Palace'
Fallon Sherrock, now knows who she will face when she returns to a stage where she made history back in 2020, at the World Darts Championships.
Sherrock is set to go head-to-head with Jermaine Wattimena in the opening round of the 2024 World Darts Championship the draw has revealed, with Martin Schindler laying in wait for the winner. Speaking to Oche 180 at the PDC's World Darts Championship media day, Sherrock explains how she still has fond memories of the Alexandra Palace stage.
"Doing stuff like this, it kind of makes me remember everything and I get all excited because I know it's Christmas time, it's Ally Pally time and going back there with all the great memories is still really exciting for me," she explains.

Although her last two attempts have seen her lose out in the first round to Steve Beaton and Ricky Evans respectively, Sherrock knows what she can produce and isn't daunted by the pressures of the World Darts Championship. "It gives you a sense of confidence. It's like, well you’ve done it before, you can do it again," she says.
"Look at how you've propelled the sport and what you've done for yourself, so every time I go there, I know what I can get from it and how much it means and all that. It gives me a buzz and I like to see everyone coming up to me afterwards and saying how I've inspired them to take up the game. That's a big thing for me now."
"If I put in the effort and the practice, it can happen," Sherrock concludes. "It's happened before and I know that when it gets to the nitty-gritty, I can pull out magical stuff so this time maybe will be the time to do it again."
