Luke Littler made his debut at the World Darts Championship late last year and immediately reached the final there. After almost a full year on the Pro Tour, the still only 17-year-old Englishman has now advanced to seventeenth place in the world rankings.
Littler has already had a great year with an overall win in the Premier League Darts, two tournament wins on the European Tour and also two tournament wins at the World Series of Darts. Yet, according to 16-time World Cup winner Phil Taylor, there is still progress to be made.
'The Power' was even recently polled if he would like to mentor Littler. Taylor would then especially limit gaming. “If he’s playing on those PlayStations, I would give him a set time, an hour a night or something, and then get ready for the next day," he told talkSPORT. "Make sure you aren’t staying up late and wake up in the morning and you are shattered.
"I have seen that many, many times – players who will have a drink afterwards, they get into the drinking and then they aren’t getting to bed until 1am or 2am."

"With young Luke, they have asked me if I would sit down with him. I said: 'Of course, I will'," he went on.
"But I would have to go and live with him for a few days, see what he is all about. I know young Luke, we have the same sponsor. If I spent time with him, I would see how he practises, see how he eats and exercises, how he does anything."
Taylor himself announced this week that he will not compete in the World Seniors Darts Masters next month. The 64-year-old has not fully recovered from his hip surgery earlier this year, putting an early definitive end to his career.
