Prevailing against Filip Sebesta, Michael van Gerwen is next up for Raymond van Barneveld as the Dutch duo get a chance to renew their rivalry at the European Darts Open and it is a clash he is relishing.

It is one that in his post match interview that he compared to the football rivalries in domestic football and dubbed it an 'A-game' that he is buzzing to take part in.

“Filip played really well. He did his country proud tonight,” said Van Barneveld.

“I needed to produce almost my best game to beat him, but I’m happy with the win and I cannot wait for tomorrow.”
