Canada's
Jeff Smith has expressed his optimism ahead of the
World Cup of Darts as both he and teammate
Matt Campbell begin to pick up some form.
Speaking after taking a dominant victory at the
CDC Cross-Border Challenge, Smith expressed his confidence that Canada can pose a challenge to any duo they come up against. "I've been bigging Matt up since the day he made it to the PDC," Smith tells Online Darts. "He is captain of Canada this year. There's no doubt about it he's on another level. I had a conversation with last week and I said if I don't ever win another game let's win this World Cup."
"I believe in that much," continues the former Lakeside world finalist. "My finishing with his scoring, his finishing we're a threat no matter who we play."
