Jimmy van Schie captures title on Challenge Tour in Milton Keynes

Jimmy van Schie won the eighteenth tournament of the PDC Challenge Tour on Saturday. For the 30-year-old Dutchman, it is his very first title at Challenge Tour level.
Van Schie managed to qualify for the final after wins over Michael Baker (5-2), Kai Gotthardt (5-2), Alexander Merkx (5-3), Anton Ostlund (5-3), Cameron Crabtree (5-3) and Dennie Olde Kalter (5-1).
In the final against Daniel Ayres, Jimmy van Schie took a 4-1 lead with an 11-darter and a 12-darter. Ayres fought back to 4-4, before Van Schie decided the match with a 14-darter.
The Challenge Tour circuit is open to players who participated in the Q-School but did not win a Tour Card. On this tour, starting tickets for the 2024 Pro Tour and Tour Cards for 2025 and 2026 can be earned.
The highest-ranked players on the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit qualify for the reserve spots at the Players Championship tournaments.

- He looks very healthy. I doubt he can run or anything. You need carbs for that. Carbs fuel your brain also. It is the preferred energy source for the brain.
