Labanauskas won through in a straight sets victory over Liu who was making his first appearance in 15 years. But it was the Lithuanian with a 96 average and three 180's and 50% on the doubles who won through.
He wrapped up the opening set with relative ease 3-1 and his scoring prowess was proving too good for Liu as he had a nine point difference on his average and this showed as he once again claimed the second set 3-1.
This was completed with a 68 checkout for a 14-darter as his average was up at 93.7 and his doubling was proving successful as well with 67%.
The final set saw Labanauskas dominate once more as he claimed it in a clean sweep to set up a tie with Simon Whitlock.
