The final run-up to the PDC
World Darts Championship had begun with some headaches for
Martin Schindler. 'The Wall' was scheduled to fly to London on Thursday morning, but his flight was cancelled.
In haste, Schindler booked a new flight and so he was able to fly to England two hours later. However, his luggage did not arrive at the destination.
However, the British darts store Darts GB came to Schindler's aid and delivered a new set of his own darts to him personally.
"Because of this I can still play tomorrow. Still I hope my own luggage will arrive'', Schindler wrote on his Facebook. The German dart player will play Martin Lukeman in the second round on Friday night.
