Lukas Wenig advances to the round of 16 of the Europe Super League without losing a match

The PDC Europe Super League will be played in Bitburg until 10 November. The last matches of the first round, which is played in round robin, were completed on Wednesday.


A field of 24 German players will compete this week for a place in the World Darts Championship. The participants have been divided into four groups of six players each and will play each other twice on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Lukas Wenig is the only player who has won all his matches to progress to the knockout phase. He finished his group with 10 points and a leg difference of +32. Daniel Klose, Kai Gotthardt and Michael Klönhammer also progressed from Group A to the round of 16.

From Group B Pascal Rupprecht, Liam Maendl-Lawrance, Paul Krohne and Andree Welge made it to the next stage of the PDC Europe Super League, where they will try to stay in the tournament until Friday and secure their ticket for the World Darts Championship.


Max Hopp played in Group C. The Maximiser finished the group phase in second place behind Dragutin Horvat. Dominik Grüllich and Arno Merk also progressed to the knockout phase.

Niko Springer is the group winner in Group D. With 9 points, he has two more wins than Nico Kurz, who is in second place in the table. René Eidams and Manfred Bildern have also progressed with 5 points each.
