Luke Littler joins illustrious list after spectacular wins at the World Darts Championship

Luke Littler showed once again on Saturday night that he is capable of great things. The 16-year-old wonderkid defeated Raymond van Barneveld in the fourth round of the World Darts Championship 4-1 in sets, notching an average of 105.01.

The Englishman had previously thrown a 106.12 average in his opening match against Christian Kist (3-0 in first round). Littler is only the eighth player ever to have thrown 105+ average twice at the World Darts Championship, and that in just a span of four matches.

Littler has already thrown as many 105+ averages at Alexandra Palace as Peter Wright, Simon Whitlock and Michael Smith. Only Michael van Gerwen (13x), Gary Anderson (5x), Phil Taylor (4x) and Raymond van Barneveld (3x) threw a 105+ average more often than Littler at the World Darts Championship.
