Marijanovic set to miss first PDC events after winning Tour Card

Robert Marijanovic claimed a Tour Card this week at European Q-School but is set to miss the first events on his return to the PDC Tour.

Marijanovic said before the event to the Weekly Dartscast that he was going to give it a go but that he wouldn’t be practicing night and day in preparation.

But now ‘Robstar’ is set for a return to the tour and this was seemingly unexpected as he took to Twitter to reveal that he needs to get aspects of his life with his family and job sorted first and that he has ‘no other choice’ but to skip the first events.

This will seemingly be next week’s Super Series held in Bolton, whether it impacts him playing at the UK Open will likely be revealed before the event.

“I think I surprised a lot of people, including me. Unfortunately I have to sort out first a couple of things with my job and family first and won’t be able to compete in the first two events. Can imagine some people will see this critical, but I have no other choice at the moment,” said Marijanovic on Twitter.
