The thirteenth event of the PDC Development Tour season is complete with Shane McGuirk edging out Keane Barry in the first final of the weekend in Hildesheim.
McGuirk has previously appeared in
Development Tour finals with two in a row this year back in June but he has finally claimed a title on the secondary tour.
He saw off Keane Barry 5-4 in the final who was into his first final but it was McGuirk who claimed the win.
In terms of who he saw off en route, this included Robbie de Bie, Henk Snijder, Kevin Doets, Martin Schindler, Ted Evetts, Kieran Spurdle and Nathan Rafferty. There is another event today and another two tomorrow to finalise the penultimate weekend of Development Tour action.
