Michael van Gerwen wins Darts Gala in Gummersbach

Michael van Gerwen boosted some confidence Friday night by taking the overall victory at an exhibition tournament in the German town of Gummersbach.

There were six Tour Card holders in attendance at the Gummersbach Darts Gala. In addition to Van Gerwen, Jonny Clayton, Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting and Tim Wolters were also booked.

In fact, for Bunting, it was his very first participation in a PDC Europe Darts Gala. However, 'The Bullet' did not manage to reach the final. The final match was between Van Gerwen and Clayton, and the Dutchman managed to pull the final his way.
