Monk claims Icons of Darts League Pool B on leg difference ahead of Askew and Jenkins

Monk had a brilliant day standard wise, he claimed five wins out of six and up to the second half of the day, he averaged over 100 including 107 and 110 in his opening wins.

This meant that the Andover ace finished on 10 points from his six games and finished with +12 on leg difference with +11 for Jason Askew and Andy Jenkins who accumulated the same amount of points throughout the day.

Wessel Nijman followed with his form picking up towards the end of the day with three victories after three defeats but on his first day he hasn't recaptured his previous form.

Rounding out the table was Mark Webster, Scott Mitchell and Mike Warburton who are all on two points after one win and five defeats.
