Paolo Nebrida will not make his debut at the
World Cup of Darts between September 9-12, 2021 in Jena, Germany due to EU Vaccination Protocols which prevent him travelling.
Nebrida was set to head to Germany alongside Lourence Ilagan. However, his one dose of Sputnik V vaccine is not accepted for travel to Germany and the rest of EU.
The German Embassy provided Nebrida with an exemption but he would be required to undergo 10-day quarantine.
But a neurological condition that causes occasional seisures has seen his management and the NDFP decide against sending him alone to Germany to quarantine.
As a result, Christian Perez will replace Nebrida in the tournament having come third overall in the qualifier and will join 'The Gunner' in Germany.
