There is still everything to play for on the final day of the Premier League Darts league phase. Three play-off places are still available and the battle for the number one spot has not yet been fully decided.

Gary Anderson, Peter Wright, Nathan Aspinall, Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price compete for the three remaining places in the play-offs. The fight for the lead in the Premier League Darts is between Glen Durrant and Anderson.

Battle for £25,000 bonus

Glen Durrant is the top favorite to end the competition as number one. He will secure the £25,000 bonus for winning the league with a draw or win against Aspinall.
Due to his superior leg balance, Durrant only needs two legs to keep Anderson definitively behind him. With an 8-2 loss against Aspinall, Anderson has to beat Gerwyn Price 8-0. In other words, the Scot has to make up fourteen legs and two points on the three-time Lakeside champion.

Play-offs race

The fight for third and fourth place in the final standings is a lot more exciting, but even number two Anderson can still be left out. The Scot then has to lose big to Price, while Wright, Van Gerwen and Aspinall have to win with (big) scores. That chance seems negligible.
The focus will therefore mainly be on Wright, Aspinall, Van Gerwen and Price. Two places are still available for the play-offs for this foursome.
