Jermaine Wattimena also lost his match in front of his own crowd at the
Dutch Darts Championship on Friday night.
'The Machine' lost 6-0 to
Ross Smith in the first round of the Euro Tour tournament in Leeuwarden. The Englishman posted an average of 101 and a finishing percentage of 67 per cent, while Wattimena only got two darts on the doubles in the entire match.
Steve Beaton was responsible for the elimination of
Kim Huybrechts. The Belgian hit a higher average (99.08) than Beaton (92.57), but the win went 6-4 to 'The Bronzed Adonis'.
