As the weeks tick down until the 2020 PDC World Championship, various qualification tournaments take place to determine the rest of the line up for the showpiece event at the Alexandra Palace.
Only seven of the qualifiers are known so far; with Lourence Ilagan, Paul Lim, Noel Malicdem and Yuki Yamada have qualified through the PDC Asian Tour.
Danny Baggish won the North American Championship; while Seigo Asada won the
Japanese Qualifying tournament. Darin Young and Matt Campbell have also qualified through the
CDC Tour; as the top ranked American and Canadian.
Qualifiers will take place in Eastern Europe and India this weekend; with the Challenge Tour also confirming their player when this finishes next weekend.
The Tom Kirby Memorial Irish Matchplay will also take place shortly with the finalists
already confirmed; they will play at the World Grand Prix for that requisite spot. The winner of the Australian DPA Tour will also be announced in October; with further tournaments taking place in Spain and Holland.
Moscow, Cape Town, Australia and China will then confirm their players through their own tournaments so by November most of the lineup should be confirmed with only Women's Qualifiers, German Super League, World Youth and PDPA still to go after this.
