Player entries for European Tour Events 9-10 have been confirmed ahead of next week's Tour Card Holder Qualifiers in Hildesheim! 🇩🇪
The PDC has announced which 32 players have been granted direct entry to the German Darts Championship and Flanders Darts Trophy. For both Euro Tour tournaments, the top-16 of the world rankings and top-16 of the Pro Tour Order of Merit are automatically seeded.
The German Darts Championship 2024 will take place from August 30 to September 1 in Hildesheim. A week later, the Flanders Dars Trophy will be played in Antwerp from Sept. 6 to 8.
Rob Cross and Luke Humphries are not competing in Hildesheim. As a result, Michael van Gerwen does not have to start in the first round of a Euro Tour tournament anyway. He is the sixteenth seed at the German Darts Championship. Furthermore, Dave Chisnall, Gary Anderson, Gerwyn Price, Damon Heta, Danny Noppert, Josh Rock, Stephen Bunting, Ryan Searle, Ross Smith, Martin Schindler, Chris Dobey, Ricardo Pietreczko, Luke Littler, Gian van Veen and Michael Smith are among the top-16 seeded players there.
Ryan Joyce, Daryl Gurney, Joe Cullen, Brendan Dolan, Luke Woodhouse, Jonny Clayton, Raymond van Barneveld, Krzysztof Ratajski, James Wade, Ritchie Edhouse, Andrew Gilding, Peter Wright, Dimitri Van den Bergh, Nathan Aspinall, Dirk van Duijvenbode and Callan Rydz have also automatically qualified but must start the German Darts Championship from the first round.
Cross has absented himself from the Flanders Darts Trophy, while Michael Smith will also not travel to Belgium. The top-16 seed list in Antwerp includes Luke Humphries, Dave Chisnall, Gary Anderson, Gerwyn Price, Damon Heta, Danny Noppert, Josh Rock, Stephen Bunting, Ryan Searle, Ross Smith, Martin Schindler, Chris Dobey, Ricardo Pietreczko, Luke Littler, Gian van Veen and Michael van Gerwen.
