Sheldon breaks new ground on PDC Women's Series, becomes third player to average over 95

Katie Sheldon continues to emerge both on the PDC Women's Series and the Development Tour and this progression was shown as she broke new ground in the former over the past weekend.

Sheldon became the third player to average over 95 in a Women's Series match. She defeated Donna Gleed with a mark of 95.43.

This in itself has only been achieved also by the forerunners on the tour in Lisa Ashton and Fallon Sherrock.

It was also a weekend that the Irishwoman qualified for the Women's World Matchplay where she could cause Sherrock some problems in Blackpool.
