Sherrock leads PDC Women's Series Order of Merit after six events

The first weekend of action at the PDC Women's Series took place this past Saturday and Sunday in Milton Keynes with Fallon Sherrock leading the Order of Merit.

Sherrock won three events as well as being runner-up twice as the Queen of the Palace and Lisa Ashton (second) led from the front.

This in turn booked her debut at the Grand Slam of Darts with the most prize money earned claiming qualification on both weekends.

As well as that though, she will now put herself into pole position for a return to the World Championship with the top two overall claiming the spots.

Ashton like alluded to is second with Sherrock on £4,300 and the former on £3,950. Their nearest rivals are way back in Deta Hedman (£2,000), Anastasia Dobromyslova (£1,500) and Rhian O'Sullivan (£1,350).

There are six events to go which will take place at the end of October at the Barnsley Metrodome which concludes the PDC Women's Series.
