Smith-Hempel and Rydz-Van Duijvenbode among Quarter-Finals at Players Championship 15

It has reached the business end at Players Championship 15 with Michael Smith on course potentially for back-to-back titles in Wigan.

Smith saw off Mario Vandenbogaerde in a crazy game which saw both go further and further into a nine-dart finish before 'Bully Boy' fell over the line. He faces Florian Hempel next with the winner to face either Alan Soutar or Josh Rock.

In the other half, it is all players with prior PDC ranking titles with Callan Rydz facing Dirk van Duijvenbode and Damon Heta taking on Ryan Joyce.
