James Wade managed to deal with Josh Rock in the quarter-finals of the Grand Slam of Darts on Friday night after a deciding leg which saw 'The Machine' at his clutch best hitting double three and humping the air afterwards.
In any case, statistics from Darts Orakel do show that Wade generally knows how to play at a high level when the left-handed darter has to play a deciding leg.
Wade already had to play a deciding leg 24 times this year. Of those, he won no less than seventeen, a winning percentage of 71 percent. Moreover, in these decisive legs, Wade records an average of 103.80 points per turn.
