Taylor beats Van Barneveld in exhibition match despite Barney averaging almost 107

Raymond van Barneveld has once again confirmed at an exhibition match in Oldham that he is in good shape heading into the PDC World Darts Championship.

In an exhibition match against his old rival Phil Taylor, 'Barney' recorded an average of 106.76. However the 16-time world champion managed to defeat Van Barneveld 5-4.

Three other matches were played. Bradley Brooks was too strong for David Evans (4-2), while Fallon Sherrock dealt with young talent Harry Gregory (4-2). Darryl Fitton triumphed 3-2 against Wayne Mardle.
