Xiaochen Zong resumes PDC China Premier League dominance with opening night win

Xiaochen Zong continued his dominance of the PDC China Premier League when it resumed for another year with victory on the opening night on Tuesday.

Producing a 23-match unbeaten streak en route to the most recent titles, he eased past Xicheng Han in a whitewash win with Zong not going to the World Darts Championship due to issues surrounding vaccination meaning that for Han, it is match practice ahead of his debut despite the final defeat.

Like the main PDC Premier League, it replicates the format with eight nights of action involving eight players and the top four will move through to the Play-Offs and the two finalists will represent China at the World Cup of Darts.
