THROWBACK VIDEO: Van Barneveld and Stompe take title for Netherlands at first edition World Cup of Darts

The 13th edition of the World Cup of Darts is scheduled from 15 to 18 June. Ahead of this tournament, Dartsnews looks back at memorable and remarkable events in the history of this event.

Raymond van Barneveld and Co Stompé won the first edition of the World Cup of Darts in 2010. In a blood-curdling final, they beat Wales 4-2.

Both countries won two matches in the final. Both Van Barneveld and Stompe beat Barrie Bates, whilst Bates' compatriot Mark Webster won his two singles matches. A pairs match had to decide the title. The Dutch duo won the final match 8-5.
