Updated World Series Order of Merit after US Darts Masters

Michael Smith's final win at the US Darts Masters in New York also makes 'Bully Boy' the first leader on the new World Series Order of Merit.

Smith won the final 8-4 over Michael van Gerwen in the night from Saturday to Sunday. He earned 12 points with his title, while Van Gerwen took eight points from his participation in Madison Square Garden. Semi-finalists Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright are on five points, followed by quarter-finalists Gary Anderson, Leonard Gates, Jonny Clayton and James Wade on three points. All losers of the first round have been awarded one point.

Next weekend the second World Series tournament of 2022 is scheduled in Copenhagen. Later this month, a similar tournament will be played at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. Then, in June, there is the return of the Australia and New Zealand triple header.
