In a match that had it all, Raymond van Barneveld secured victory over Ian White 6-5 after 'Diamond' had missed four match darts himself to seal it 6-5 at the German Darts Grand Prix.

Four ton-plus checkouts between them in a superb part of the game and Van Barneveld discussed his mindset as well as sharing his excitement for his tie against Gerwyn Price.
"I think I broke his throw four times and he broke mine four and on top of the big finishes, you're thinking this is impossible and then 5-4 down get it to 5-5 and you think here we go," he said post match.
"He hit a 161 and I hit a 131 to make it even and then that last leg oh god, tensions, nerves. I'm so happy I won this game. I've been practicing hard and with this practicing, it felt alright but in the end I'm happy to win the game. I'm looking forward to the match against Gerwyn tomorrow (Sunday).
He also spoke about the support he was getting from the crowd afterwards and described them almost as deafening during the tie.
"They always do this, they always support me. Sometimes you have to shout as I can't hear. I look forward to seeing you again for the game against Gerwyn, thank you," he said to the crowd.
