Nathan Aspinall is through to the Grand Slam of Darts Quarter-Finals but could yet see some of his prize money sent to the DRA after making an obscene gesture during the interval against Jermaine Wattimena before realising.
Aspinall made a w*nker gesture while walking down the stairs after Wattimena and then looked up and realised a camera was there so tried playing it off.
He went on to seal the tie but in a week which also saw Scott Williams potentially adding to the DRA list due to flipping off Luke Humphries, there is potentially another player to add.

Aspinall is a cowardly scumbag and looks like someone who would expect to see working at McDonald's. To do that behind a back shows he is classless as well as completely and utterly dull and yawnzzzzzzz. Wattimena would flatten him with 1 finger

- I agree. There needs to be a points system and preferably just a rolling one year. World Championship should earn the most points though it can be argued that the current qualification system does see a fair few players qualify from regional country qualifiers who would struggle to hold down a place on the Pro Tour. If prize money won is going to remain as the determining factor for ranking then the World Championship should just consist of the 128 Tour Card Holders. Another option would be to take the World Championship out of the rankings and have it as the stand alone pinnacle that you qualify for by winning certain tournaments or your ranking position, sort of like a GSOD+.Mysstree05-04-2025
