PDC Europe paired training mates Gary Anderson and Ryan Searle for a special nine-dart challenge. They had to throw the nine darts with the other players' arrows.
And throwing Searle's darts well is quite a challenge. The darts of 'Heavy Metal' are by far the heaviest on the entire PDC Tour. The Englishman throws 32-gram darts, while the average darter throws 21 to 24-gram darts.
Anderson's darts also fall into that category. The darts of 'The Flying Scotsman' weigh 23 grams each. You can see who wins this particular nine-dart challenge in the video below.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
