Luke Humphries won the title at the German Darts Grand Prix in Munich on Monday night. It was the sixth career Euro Tour title for 'Cool Hand Luke'.
The final session of the German Darts Grand Prix got underway with Gerwyn Price's narrow victory over Josh Rock (6-5), while Humphries triumphed against Danny Noppert (6-2) in the second quarterfinal. Then Martin Schindler qualified for the semifinals by defeating Nathan Aspinall (6-4). Michael van Gerwen then settled with Jermaine Wattimena (6-2).
The two semifinals were one-sided. Humphries beat Price 7-3, while Van Gerwen won 7-2 over Schindler. In the final, Humphries showed his class by beating Van Gerwen 8-1 thanks to an average of 112.66.
