Jose de Sousa became a first time European Tour champion at the weekend joining Devon Petersen and Gerwyn Price in winning one in a truncated year after defeating Michael van Gerwen at the European Darts Grand Prix.
A truly unstoppable display at times, he eased past the World Number One to win a European Tour in only his third event.
