On Sunday night, Luke Humphries and Josh Rock faced each other in a spectacular final of the 28th Players Championship tournament in Barnsley.
Humphries had reached the final after victories over Maik Kuivenhoven, Niels Zonneveld and Chris Dobey, while Rock had eliminated Jim Williams, Adrian Lewis and Damon Heta, among others.
Both finalists took their top form to the final, as they both managed to record an average of well over a hundred. However, the win went convincingly to Rock, who captured his first-ever PDC ranking title.
