James Wade has claimed a fourth PDC title of 2019 after seeing off maiden finalist Jose de Sousa at Players Championship 18 in Wigan to join Krzysztof Ratajski in the winners circle this weekend.

Wade saw off the Portuguese ace in a 8-5 win which included a 94.5 average from 'The Machine' to finish off an excellent run.
De Sousa had a sensational start to the final smashing in a 160 checkout to clinch the first leg and Wade squared it up.
It was Jose though who regained the upper hand but it continued to go with throw. Wade punished a miss from De Sousa though to break throw and from there he lead 4-2.
De Sousa came back onto level terms at 4-4 but Wade moved two away to 6-4. De Sousa could only claim one more leg though as 'The Machine' streaked to the victory.
