Williams after sealing maiden PDC title at Players Championship 6: "Hopefully now I feel like I belong"

Jim Williams has taken only six events as a fully fledged PDC Tour Card holder to add his first title claiming Players Championship 6 with victory over Ricky Evans 8-6.
Williams played well all day but the nerves got to him and it took eight match darts before he concluded the job but the former BDO World finalist believes he now belongs on the PDC Tour and wants to push on.

"I didn't feel any nerves all day until the last match darts," said the Welshman.
"It wasn't a great way to win it but it is a good feeling. It's a very long day and I haven't played that much in the last three years really so I had to battle through."
"To win it is great and hopefully now I feel like I belong and can kick on from here."
