Williams doubles up on opening day of PDC Challenge Tour

Scott Williams may not have claimed a Tour Card at Q-School these past few weeks but went towards a good lead atop the PDC Challenge Tour claiming back-to-back titles.

Williams saw off Lee Evans 5-2 in the final with a 95 average and won both titles with a 100 checkout.

Scott Marsh and Scott Taylor were also notable scalps en route and he will likely top up the PDC ProTour as a reserve as one of the benefits of the Challenge Tour as well as a potential future Tour Card and World Championship spot.
