The World Matchplay is set to take place on it's usual date of 18-26 July with an announcement expected in the coming days about it's status in terms of being played behind closed doors or with a limited crowd.
In terms of the draw, it will be completed at the conclusion of the PDC Summer Series on July 12; which will see the field confirmed for the next major tournament.
PDC Commentator, Dan Dawson who will be involved in the previous five days will conduct the draw; alongside Players Championship Finals winner, Paul Nicholson.
It will be completed on Betfred's social media channels; who are the title sponsor's of this year's World Matchplay.
