Wright gives World Darts Championship prediction: "I look forward to taking MVG out in the semi-finals and playing Price in the final"

Peter Wright lost out in the final of the Grand Slam of Darts to Gerwyn Price but 'Snakebite' believes that their battle will roar on into the biggest tournament of them all, the PDC World Darts Championship.

"There's no excuses, I didn't turn up for the final. I'm disappointed for the fans and I'm disappointed for all the people back home," said Wright.

"If Peter would have won and beat me today and won next week, he could have took that off me before the World's. He can't do it now c'mon," Price joked.

"I look forward to taking MVG out in the semi-finals and playing this man in the final," Wright replied on the showpiece tournament.
