PHOTO: Large section of dartboard covered in chalk by Deller raises debate at World Seniors Darts Championship

Keith Deller made extensive use of chalk that provides more grip when holding darts, during his match against Michael Huntley at the World Seniors Darts Championship

The result, however, was that almost the entire section of the 20 was covered in chalk.

That caused quite a stir on social media as well as on commentary with Paul Nicholson remarking that it could see Huntley get chalk on his darts and put him off too.

As well as amid the rule to not let aggressive points in darts from 2024, it raised debate.

Among the responses to this included: "Keith Deller is an absolute menace with this chalk." A second said: "How can they ban certain points & let Keith Deller put a ton of chalk on the board as he does?"

Another remarked. "Deller keeping the chalk makers in business haha."
